Siamo appena tornati dal tour in Giappone con KNOSIS e, onestamente… siamo ancora elettrizzati. Questo viaggio non è stato solo una collaborazione di prodotto: si è trasformato in una delle esperienze più indimenticabili della nostra vita.

Dal primo giorno, ci siamo sentiti parte della band. Stretti nel van, troppo sushi condiviso, sake bevuto come i locali, risate a non finire per strada, e in qualche modo siamo arrivati interi ad ogni concerto. I ragazzi di KNOSIS? Veri fratelli. In particolare Ryo, una bestia sul palco e la persona più tranquilla fuori. Ci hanno accolti come una famiglia, e così ci siamo sentiti.

Ogni concerto è stato puro caos. La scena metal giapponese? Di un altro livello. I mosh pit erano brutali, gente che volava, che urlava ogni parola, il sudore colava dai muri… una meraviglia. L’energia che ti ricorda perché ti sei innamorato della musica live.

Abbiamo lanciato una collaborazione di calzini in edizione limitata ispirata al logo e allo stile della band, e si è esaurita più velocemente di quanto avremmo mai immaginato. Vedere la gente indossarli nel pit, saltare le barriere, sudati, con gli American Socks… irreale.

C’eravamo per tutto: allestivamo il nostro stand a ogni show, chiacchieravamo con i fan, facevamo foto, vivevamo l’attimo. E sì, abbiamo catturato tutto: il rumore, i sorrisi, il caos, l’amore.

Questa collaborazione significa molto per noi. Non solo perché è stata un successo, ma perché è nata da una connessione vera. KNOSIS, avete un posto speciale nel nostro cuore. Siamo fieri di aver fatto questo insieme e non vediamo l’ora di scoprire cosa ci aspetta.

We dropped the full collection on April 14th and now, the spotlight’s on these new socks. Mid-high, bold as ever, and built for everything: from spontaneous road trips to dancing barefoot (well, almost) at 3AM.

These designs are inspired by unicorns, skulls, tattoos, and everything chaotic and colorful. We’re super excited to finally share our latest collab: a limited edition pair of socks designed together with Mogwai, an iconic post-rock band!

If you don’t know them already (where have you been?), Mogwai is a Scottish band formed in 1995 in Glasgow. They’ve been making powerful and mind-blowing instrumental music for decades and now we’ve joined forces to turn that vibe into something you can wear.

This isn’t just merch. It’s a tribute to a band that’s inspired us for years, and we’ve put a lot of love into creating something special for their fans and for everyone who loves music with feeling.

Only a limited number of pairs are available, so once they’re gone, that’s it. Don't miss the opportunity.

The event took place at Siyu, a new bar-restaurant on Gran Via that had just opened its doors. They didn’t just give us the space, they also offered a delicious brunch!

The moment we announced the event, tickets flew. Literally sold out in no time. By the time we started, there was already a line of people waiting and excited to get involved.

The idea was simple: each person would customize their own pair of white American Socks using tie-dye techniques, with guidance from Les Noies del Medi (a rad surf and skate community for women) and support from Tintes Iberia. Everything was done 100% by hand, with no shortcuts, no pre-made samples — just people creating from scratch, having fun, and getting a little messy in the best way possible.

Throughout the afterrnoon, the energy was amazing. Music was playing, people were chatting and laughing, socks were soaking in vibrant colors, and the whole space felt alive. There was no pressure to "do it right", just a chance to hang out, try something new, and leave with something you made yourself.

Now the socks are dry, and many of the participants have already picked up their finished pairs and are ready to wear and show them off. Every set came out different, but all of them carry a bit of that day’s energy.It was so amazing we’re already thinking of doing it again. This is what went down during 24h in Barcelona!

On February 28th, the American Socks crew turned the store into the place to be. Picture this: free beer, free Monster, great music, and a crowd of awesome people all in one spot. You could drop by, grab a drink, vibe to the tunes, and meet new faces—no pressure, just pure energy.

Because we’re all about capturing real, unfiltered moments, we left a box of analog cameras out for anyone to grab and start shooting. The result? A mix of spontaneous shots and big smiles.

When the store was packed and the vibes were through the roof, we knew it was time for the big reveal: the reason behind the event’s name. We teamed up with some of the coolest skaters in Barcelona to shoot a video that captured the city’s raw energy—fearless tricks, unique styles, and full-on attitude. Basically, a love letter to BCN on four wheels.

But wait, that wasn't all! Right after the big reveal, we rolled right into the raffle. A ticket dispenser at the entrance made sure everyone could grab one and join the giveaway. Winners were picked live and walked away with a customized box, socks, and tees. Total steal!

Good company and amazing vibes in every corner of the store. Now that’s how you throw an event!

Shops 1st Try in Austria was an event we just couldn’t miss. It’s not your typical trade show—it’s a gathering where the best retailers and brands come together to showcase what’s new and exciting in the world of snowboarding and streetwear. Naturally, we were ready to bring our best to the table.

Set in the insanely beautiful Alpbach, the event was all about connecting, testing gear, and just soaking in the energy of the snowboard and streetwear scene. It wasn’t just about showing off our socks (though, yeah, we did that too); we also brought along Kiddo, our iconic inflatable skater mascot, to keep the vibes fun and energetic. it was about hanging out with our community and seeing how American Socks fits into their adventures. We’re not just a brand; we’re part of a lifestyle.

Our booth? Straight-up fire. We even had some exclusive socks made specially for the event, featuring a unique design that celebrated the spirit of Shops 1st Try. Bright, bold, and unapologetic—just like our socks. Everyone was stoked to check out our newest collections, especially our eco-friendly designs. Sustainability is a huge deal for us, and it was rad to see how much people appreciated that. Shredding powder is just better when you’re also taking care of the planet, right?

The best part? Seeing our socks in action. Shops 1st Try isn’t just about looking good—it’s about performance. Riders and retailers put our socks to the test in real-world conditions, and they crushed it. Comfort, durability, and style—we delivered on all fronts. Plus, we got to meet shop owners who are just as obsessed with their craft as we are with ours. Instant connection.

Of course, it wasn’t all work. We hit the slopes, made some new friends, and totally soaked in the après-ski vibes. Every laugh, every shared story, and every moment out there reminded us why we love being part of this culture. It’s more than just socks; it’s a way of life.

Shops 1st Try was epic, but it’s just the beginning. The energy and inspiration we got from this event are fueling us for what’s next. We’re already cooking up new ideas, new collabs, and fresh designs to keep things moving. L'anno è il 2004, alcuni lo soprannomineranno come il miglior anno del Punk Rock/Pop Punk, molte delle BAND TOP hanno pubblicato i loro album più conosciuti e alcuni altri quelli che hanno fatto conoscere il loro nome.

Se fai bene i calcoli, quest'anno segna il 20° anniversario per questi iconici CD melodici; per celebrare questo traguardo, abbiamo compilato una lista dei nostri album preferiti, dai un'occhiata!

• AMERICAN IDIOT - GREEN DAY:

 

21 settembre 2004, il trio californiano pubblica l'album che li catapulterà ulteriormente sulla scena mainstream; dopo il loro enorme successo con “Dookie" nel 1994, questa volta la band si è orientata maggiormente verso il lato controverso e politico dell'espressione di sé. Vincitore del Grammy 2004 per il Miglior Album Rock dell'Anno.

Questo album ci ha regalato molte canzoni memorabili come: l'omonima American Idiot, Holiday, Jesus of Suburbia, Whatsername e la canzone vincitrice del Grammy Boulevard of Broken Dreams.

 

THREE CHEERS FOR SWEET REVENGE - MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE

 

Se torniamo a qualche mese prima, estate 2004, gli emergenti iconici dei MCR pubblicarono quello che sarebbe diventato l'album per cui saranno conosciuti per il resto del tempo. Con questo album, la band produsse un suono più raffinato rispetto a quello del loro album di debutto del 2002 “I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love”. Questa era plasmò anche l'estetica per cui i MCR sarebbero stati riconosciuti, come il trucco iconico del cantante principale Gerard Way e la cravatta rossa.

Questo album ci ha regalato così tanti brani iconici come: Helena, I’m Not Okay (I Promise), Cemetery Drive e Thank You for the Venom.

 

• A HANGOVER YOU DON’T DESERVE - BOWLING FOR SOUP

Essendo il quinto album in studio della band, pubblicato il 21 settembre, è diventato un punto fermo nella discografia della band. Dalla prima all'ultima canzone, "A Hangover You Don't Deserve" è davvero un ottimo album. Anche sperimentale. Bowling for Soup sperimenta con pianoforte e chitarra acustica su diverse tracce ("Ridiculous", "Friends of Mine", ecc.).Il loro primo singolo “1985”, divenne rapidamente un successo raggiungendo il Nº5 nella classifica Billboard’s Adult Top 40. Questo album ha anche portato loro un disco Gold certificato dalla RIAA.

Altre canzoni memorabili di questo album sono: Almost, Ohio (Come Back to Texas) e Trucker Hat.

 

• STILL NOT GETTING ANY - SIMPLE PLAN

 

Dopo il successo del loro album di debutto del 2002 “No Pads, No Helmets… Just Balls”, la band canadese è tornata nel 2004 con il loro secondo album in studio “Still Not Getting Any” rilasciato il 26 ottobre. Anche se i critici hanno attaccato l'album definendolo un “disco di angoscia adolescenziale lamentoso e putrido”, il pubblico aveva un'opinione completamente diversa, rendendo questo uno dei loro rilasci più iconici nella discografia della band. Ha raggiunto 4 volte il Platino in Canada, due volte in Australia, e negli USA e Nuova Zelanda. Raggiungendo il Nº3 nella Billboard 200 USA, dimostrando che i critici si sbagliavano.

Questo album ci ha portato così tante canzoni iconiche come: Shut Up!, Welcome To My Life e Jump.

 

• UNDER MY SKIN - AVRIL LAVIGNE

 

Seguendo il filone canadese, un'altra artista straordinaria ha seguito il loro successo del 2002, non è altro che l'iconica cantautrice Avril Lavigne. Uscito il 21 maggio, la cantante canadese è arrivata forte con un rilascio più sentito e personale. Debuttando al Nº1 della Billboard 200 e vincendo tre Juno Awards (Artista dell'Anno, Juno Fan Choice Award e Pop Album of the Year).

Questo album è arrivato pieno di successi, i più memorabili sono Nobody’s Home, Forgotten, Don’t Tell Me e il doppio Platino My Happy Ending.

 

• HOT FUSS - THE KILLERS

 

Hot Fuss è l'album di debutto dello storico gruppo rock americano The Killers, pubblicato il 7 giugno 2004. Con uno dei brani più iconici di sempre, Mr. Brightside, l'album riporta il rock degli anni '80 ma con un suono completamente rivitalizzato. It è stato il 26° album più venduto degli anni 2000 nel Regno Unito e figura tra i primi 40 album con la permanenza più lunga nella storia della UK Albums Chart, con 254 settimane. Inoltre, ha ottenuto 6 dischi di platino negli Stati Uniti e 8 nel Regno Unito.

Questo debutto ha anche offerto successi come Somebody Told Me, All These Things That I’ve Done, Smile Like You Mean It e Jenny Is A Friend Of Mine.

 

• CHUCK - SUM 41

 

Spostandoci ancora una volta in Canada, i SUM 41 hanno pubblicato il loro terzo album in studio Chuck il 12 ottobre 2004. È l'ultimo album a presentare il chitarrista Dave Baksh, che ha lasciato i Sum 41 l'11 maggio 2006. Baksh è poi rientrato nella band nel 2015. La band ha citato Metallica e Refused come principali influenze. Arrivando al Nº2 nella Billboard Canadian Albums e due volte Platino in Canada.

L'album è arrivato con una vasta gamma di successi come Pieces, No Reason, We're All To Blame e Some Say.

 

• THE CHRONICLES OF LIFE AND DEATH - GOOD CHARLOTTE

 

Un altro grande album di terzo rilascio, questa volta dalla band rock americana Good Charlotte. Arrivando al Nº3 nella Billboard 200 e ottenendo il Platino sia negli Stati Uniti che in Australia. L'album è stato pubblicato il 5 ottobre tramite Epic e Daylight Records in due edizioni diverse: Life (con "Falling Away" come traccia bonus) e Death (con "Meet My Maker" come traccia bonus), entrambe con diverse copertine create da Martin. 

Questo album ci ha regalato canzoni amate come I Just Wanna Live, We Believe e Predictable.

 

• CATALYST - NEW FOUND GLORY

 

Arrivando al Nº2 nella Billboard 200, il quarto album in studio della band è stato pubblicato il 18 maggio 2004, vendendo 146.000 copie nella sua prima settimana, successivamente certificato oro dalla RIAA nell'agosto 2004. Philip Obenschain di Alternative Press ha detto che l'album era uno "spaccato nostalgico di una transizione a metà carriera", che non solo mostrava di cosa era capace il gruppo sotto pressione, ma anche che "il pop-punk poteva raggiungere un pubblico radiofonico e MTV più ampio senza compromettere la sua credibilità".

Questo album ha presentato brani sfrenati come A Downhill from Here, Truth of My Youth, The Disaster e At Least I'm Known For Something.

 

• GETTING AWAY WITH MURDER - PAPA ROACH

 

Uscito il 31 agosto, un altro grande quarto album, questa volta il turno dei Papa Roach con Getting Away With Murder. L'album è stato un cambiamento rispetto ai lavori precedenti della band, mostrando un suono alternative rock e hard rock invece di un suono nu metal e rap metal. Ha ottenuto il Platino negli Stati Uniti e il brano "Not Listening" è stato presente nei videogiochi NASCAR 2005: Chase for the Cup nel 2004, FlatOut 2 nel 2006 e Gran Turismo 4, ed è stato anche presente nel trailer del film del 2004 Resident Evil: Apocalypse.

Ovviamente dobbiamo menzionare successi dell'album come Scars, il brano omonimo Getting Away With Murder e Not Listening.
