We had a crew at each of these festivals and they had a lot of fun, they chose a battle name for each other and smashed the festival.👊🏼 But what were the highlights of the weekend?🧐 Let's see!

1. Our lovely team from Rock am Ring, the incredibles Golden Coast☀️, had the opportunity to give Bring Me The Horizon and Papa Roach some socks!! We are very veeeery happy because they are some of our favourite bands.🤩 We hope they enjoy them!! 

2. We were the best in the moshpits! Our whole team went from side to side of the gigs and gave it their all moshing in the wildest pogos. They had a great time with everyone in the crowd.🖤

3. We are now one more in the family!😊 The amazings Free Stickers, our cool crew from Rock im Park, met the wonderful Maggie Lindemann. She was a sweetheart and they had a great time chatting with her about music and socks. We are happy to announce that she is now part of our socker community.🤟

4. The team which went to Slam Dunk Italy are reals punk rockers. They played their hearts out at the Sum 41 live show and showed all the audience what it means to be a real socker. We are very proud of them!⚡️

This weekend has been a dream and we hope that for the sockers who have been with us or have come to see us in our Pop Up Stores, it has also been a wonderful experience.✨ See you at the next festival!🤙🏼

Hey sockers! This last weekend has been super crazy!!💥 As you know the festival season has begun and we are witnessing many of the best. We just got back from Slam Dunk UK and it was a blast! 

There we had the pleasure of meeting the amazing LANDMVRKS🤟, we had a great time talking to them in our Pop Up Store and they even took some of our socks!! It was amazing to see them on stage with our socks on❤️. Thank you guys, you rock!😝

We know you couldn't wait any longer, but don't worry, we're back to bring you the best sock tips. We previously discussed lengths and the power of wearing sandals with socks, and if you haven't read it I don't know what the hell you were doing.... (Come on, here it is.) Today we were talking about the best part of wearing socks, which is being able to go a little wild with them. Understand me, maybe it's a little weird to wear an astronaut costume to your 9 to 6 job but no one is going to tell you anything for wearing space-inspired socks... So today it's all about designs✨

THE OG'S: BLACK, WHITE AND COLOURS

There are many occasions when it is better to keep it simple, but that should not be a problem for dressing smartly. However, keeping it simple does not mean wearing basic socks or loosing your style. You can go black or white with black or white stripes to make it classy, maybe add colored stripes if you want to be a little more playful or even a minimalistic fine line design to be a little more offbeat.

However, as I was telling you before, for many people, socks are the piece of clothing that allows them to give a more casual and wacky tone to their outfits. Who could need a blog on how to wear socks? Well, we know that they may look like a simple garment... But we can assure you that it is far from that. Plus, we're sick and tired of seeing people wearing them wrong.😩 So we've decided to create a post for all of you to get all the juice out of your socks. Ready for part one sockers? 🆙

CHOOSE THE RIGHT LENGTH

First of all you have to choose the right length for you and we won't fool you, there is a sea of possibilities. This will depend on different factors, such as the activity for which you are going to use the sock, the weather or just your personal taste. The super cool American Socks team has prepared a cheat sheet so you don't mess with your decision again. 👍🏼

• Ankle High

You go for the basics, that's ok. Ankle High is the perfect sock length if you don't want the socks to be the main character of your outfit. Sometimes for work or personal tastes we have to wear more discreet socks but that should not be a reason to refuse to keep your feet warm and protected from scratches and blisters. They can also be a good option for hot days, as you know, the less fabric the less heat. And hey, they look very cute, I personally like them a lot. But please, avoid too short socks. They suck.

 • Mid High 

You know we are well known for them, huh? 😏 These are sock heaven, take my word for it. You can wear them in literally any occasion because they are sick. These amazing socks are perfect to add a sparkle to your outfit, we have a bunch of designs and colours to choose so it can match -or unmatch- your colour palette. They are also great for impact sports such as skateboarding or BMX, that fabric that goes up the calf will prevent many fatal blows, although if it comes to sports we strongly recommend using our Signature line, but we'll talk about that a bit later.

 • Knee High

Now things are getting interesting! These socks are the BEST if you want to spice up even more your outfit. Socks to the knees? A big YES but only for the fearless.😎 They are also a good choice for cold days or for those who wear very high boots, it stinks when you notice the leather hooking to your skin as you walk. We have them in a wide range of colours, so you can choose the one that best suits your needs.

 • Ultra High

If you wear them, let me tell you that you are the ultimate. They are funky but a must to get your outfit on top. Try them with skirts or shorts and you'll feel gorgeous. They are also very warm and fit super nice and snug on the thighs.💗

Okay, we know we are getting into swampy territory, like when they ask which is better: Adidas or Nike, whether to pour milk or cereal first or whether the pizza should have pineapple or not -although absolutely not-. But man, it's time to abandon the stigma of sandals with socks.

At American Socks we work very hard, not only to have the most confortable and durable socks but also to have the coolest designs. And which is the best way of show a cool pattern? Yes, with an open shoe like... Yes, a sandal. We're not saying to wear socks with the moldy flip-flops from the pool that you haven't changed since elementary school, but there's a lot of cool combinations that you can make with these kind of footwear. You can try a comfy but chic with these or a more alternative vibe with these others. Whatever it is, there are a million possibilities, you just have to jump into the pool and choose the one you like the most. Hey sockers!! This last week has been crazy one! We have been taking part in the REC.0 in Igualada with our pop-up store and it has been awesome. 🤟

For those who may not know, Rec.0 is a fashion and music festival held in Barcelona, Spain. This year's festival took place from May 5th to May 8th, and we were one of the brands that participated.

The vibe was amazing and the people were very cool. We had a lot o fun with all our customers in our pop-up store and we even had a popcorn machine!🍿 We had the opportunity to start the festival by painting our own mural and it was a blast.

We are very happy with the reception of our new Spring/Summer Collection 🍃🌊, the new t-shirts were a hit! We can't wait to come back and rock it next year. Thank you Rec.0!

As usual, American Socks will have a stand at the festival, but this year, we are bringing something extra special to the table. We are inviting performing bands to play live music and will also be creating a stunning live painting mural.

For those unfamiliar with Rec.0, it is a festival that transforms the historic textile district of Igualada into a vibrant and dynamic event space. Over 100 fashion and accessory brands showcase their collections in unique industrial spaces that are open to the public for the duration of the festival.

As a brand that is known for its high-quality, stylish and eco-friendly socks, American Socks is a perfect fit for the Rec.0 Festival. Not only will we be showcasing our latest Spring/Summer Collection, but we will also be offering visitors a chance to see some incredible live music and a mesmerizing mural being created right in front of your eyes.

American Socks had an incredible time at Viña Rock 2023, where we set up our stand and had a lot of fun interacting with festival-goers and customers. Our team was thrilled to be a part of such an amazing event and we're excited to share some of our experiences with you!

One of the most memorable moments of the festival was the International standing still jumping competition that we organized. Participants had to jump over a longer distance, and the winners received an amazing pair of our socks as a prize. The competition was a huge hit, and we were thrilled to see so many people taking part and having a great time.

But that's not all! We also had the pleasure of working with several bands who showed a lot of interest in our socks. Some of the bands who bought our socks included Auxili, a band from the Valencian Community, Itaca Band, a band from Catalonia, Bellako, another band from Catalonia, and Sexy Zebras. We were honored to be able to work with such talented musicians, and we're thrilled that they appreciated our products.

One of the most exciting moments of the festival was when Los Chikos del Maiz performed with our socks! It was amazing to see our socks on stage, and we were thrilled that the band was able to incorporate our products into their performance.

In addition to all of this, we also had a special pair of socks designed specifically for Viña Rock 2023. These socks featured an incredible design that was inspired by the festival, and they were a huge hit with festival-goers. We were thrilled to see so many people wearing our special Viña Rock socks, and we're excited to continue creating unique designs for future events.

Overall, our experience at Viña Rock 2023 was absolutely amazing. We had a lot of fun with customers and festival-goers, and we're thrilled to have had the opportunity to work with so many incredible musicians. This is just the beginning of the festival season, and we can't wait to see what the future holds for American Socks!
